No Time Or Effort

Once we have completed the annual accounts, all you have to do is review and sign them on Accountancy Manager and we will then submit them to Companies House on your behalf.

Thorough & Accurate

We will ensure all of your transactions are represented in your accounts and make sure they are reconciled with your bank account.

Peace of Mind

We will inform you well ahead of time when your next annual accounts are due so that there is plenty of time for us to prepare them.

Why use us to do your annual accounts for you?

Not only a legal requirement, but your annual accounts are also an opportunity for us to help you improve your business.

Your annual accounts have a lot of data and information that can be found and analysed. For example, we can look with you at you current operating margins on your products/services, and look at ways to increase this margin. We can also compare performance with you against previous years figures to help guide you in the right direction moving forward.

If you need your data to be analysed more frequently, then you may wish to consider our meetings and management reports service, where we can ensure actions are taken in time to make a difference, as opposed to after it has already happened!

Using Accountancy Manager, we are also able to make your annual accounts process a completely paperless and virtual experience. Accountancy Manager allows us to send you your finished annual accounts safely and securely for you to sign online and return to us.

Our Annual Accounts Process

You will receive text/email reminders for your records (unless using cloud accounting systems already)

We then prepare your accounts, asking questions as necessary to ensure the full picture is represented correctly.

We will then send you the accounts to review, giving you the chance to talk them through with us if you wish.

You digitally sign/approve the accounts, ready for us to submit to Companies House. They’ll be available to you 24/7 on Accountancy Manager (our cloud system) if you need a copy.

Simple. You can either ask us at any time, or check the Companies House website. You will also get reminders through the post.

Companies House will impose penalties depending on how late you submit your annual accounts. The penalties are as follows:

  • Less than one month late £150
  • More than one month late but not more than three months late £375
  • More than three months late but not more than six months late £750
  • More than six months late £1500

The only way you can avoid these penalties is either:

  • Dissolving the company
  • File the accounts and then submit an appeal (please note though that appeals may not be successful)

If you change your registered office address, appoint or lose a Director or Secretary, or if any personal details change, then Companies House will need to be notified as soon as possible. We can guide you in this situation.
